Around the World: South American Squishy Monkey Crochet Pattern

This Squishy Monkey crochet pattern is part of my Around the World Amigurumi series, on our second stop: South America!🌍 It is a quick, cuddly make using plush yarn—perfect for gifts and nurseries.

Think of it as a creative adventure we’re taking together… no packing required. I love traveling, but real life doesn’t always cooperate, so this is my way of bringing a little piece of the world into our crochet. Each continent in the series will include 3–4 patterns (and maybe more!), and once we’ve explored one, we’ll move on to the next destination.

The Squishy Monkey has a face that is SO hard to resist! The body is intentionally under-stuffed for that signature “squishy” feel, two different kind of feet, and tiny ears!
